COLLECTION IDEA. My collection is about the elitist. About something. About the status symbol and the truth behind it. Everyone wants to have a status, everyone wants to be something. Today in our society you have to be something. But what does it mean? Few of them care. Because when you are something, radiate something, there is always something behind it. Be it a facade, be it sadness, or be it just something you actually long for. On the streets today it is difficult to tell what an upper or lower class is, because jogging pants are not described as derogatory. However, for this to happen, there has to be a symbol. Be it a normal monogram that connects someone with a well-known fashion house, or just a logo, a slogan.

That's why I dealt with the club jacket, the emblem and the club bag in my collection in general. A monogram or an emblem should be placed on a club jacket, whether it is a football club, golf club or an old fashion house. Something that it describes, represents or sets a status. In my concept, however, it is what is behind it. What does such a status say about us? Is it assumed that people from the elite class are really happy with what they have? Are we happy in our society today when we buy an expensive designer piece so we can show it to everyone? Is that what defines us today? What do we aspirate for? Or is it simply the facade that we want to maintain so that we do not want to or cannot allow feelings from our protective mechanism?

ELITESTE means “elitist” in French. If we google the definition "elite", it is described as a selection of performing groups of people with special abilities, special qualities; the best, leaders; Management class, team - "the social, sporting elite" is. What is “elitist” for you today?
